MEC Club’s Reverse Engineering Workshop – Come out!
Reverse Engineering Workshop!
Hosted by, Lassonde’s MEC – Mechanical Engineering Club (click to find us on facebook)!

Lassonde! It’s true, we are approaching the time once again for exams, the end of the semester and the year. It’s been a long one so we’re going to have one more event that will be fun AND use some of the things we’ve learned in class!
Join us after your classes on Thurs March 21st as we do experimentation in reverse engineering!! It’s a free event, you get to play work with cool, old-school devices (disposable cameras, VCRS and other great finds) from our friendly local Value Village and break them apart – strategically of course.
Throughout, we’ll look at design aspects, functionality and importance of components. Come disassemble, tinker and see how things work!
MEC Club will provide all necessary equipment and
to keep up the energy!
Open to all York students – so come alone, come with your friends or bring your whole class!
Signup here – want to be sure we have enough electronic devices and pizza for everyone!
The MEC – Mechanical Engineering Club is York U’s official chapter of CSME (Canadian Society for Mechanical Engineering). If you’re interested in joining the club, come out as well to sign up for this and next year 🙂
Looking forward to it and seeing you there!
